Park City Mountain Resort
“Gods Paintbrush”
Signature Series Limited Edition Art
Location: First Snow - Park City Mountain Resort
Many years ago, the first snow fell on colorful fall leaves at the Park City Mountain Resort. An event like this is rare because strong fall winds typically blow the leaves away before the first snow. Water droplets on colored leaves act like little light magnifiers and leaves pop with luminosity from sunlight. A thin, rippling cloud cover softens the sun's rays, creating a vast studio light-box. Shadow and light from the rippling cloud cover contribute to this fantastic scene, giving it depth and 3D dimensionality.
Two Versions. More snow or less snow!

This is my favorite image of Park City Mountain Resort. The first snow arrived while the leaves were still on the trees, which rarely happens because the leaves usually get blown off. The maximum size is 24X36 to retain the quality of a camera used long ago. I recommend this made as a Chromogenic Museum Acrylic. I have a sample available if you wish to take a look!
See “Art and Awards” for an explanation of Traditional Prints, Canvas, Metal, and Museum Acrylic.
