Intermountain Professional Photographers Association Photographer of the Year

Awarded to David Winegar – November 9, 2022

Park City resident, David Winegar, was honored with the 2022 Photographer of the Year award by the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association (IPPA). This prestigious recognition is given to the general photographer with the highest total score across four photographic images submitted in the competition. The images are judged by a panel of five Master Photographers, who evaluate each photo using the Professional Photographers Association’s (PPA) 12 Elements of a Merit Image.

In addition to Photographer of the Year, David received the Court of Honor award for the highest overall competition scores, and the Reportage award for his impactful coverage of the 2021 Parleys Canyon Fire.
